Was so glad to finally get to this restaurant. Also thankful to get the lunch specials at a great value! I had the tongue set and one friend got the stone pot bibim bap and another got the.beef and tongue combo. All came with a nice sized salad and delicious miso soup with a hint of yuzu. All delicious but I kind of missed my salt and sesame oil dip. The Kim Chee was a little too sweet for my taste but it was fresh I would have loved a little more fish sauce on it. For dessert we had the delicious crème brûlée, cheesecake and the yuzu sorbet was probably the best I've ever had with bits of yuzu but no bitterness at all!!! Service was great!

If there's another type of cuisine I like that isn't sushi, it would have to be some bomb af kbbq. Now this isn't your average kbbq place where you can walk in without a reservation, have a seat, and get yelled at (in a loving way) by a korean aunty about what kinds of protein you want... This is the kbbq place where having a reservation should be a must and you get seated on a nice clean table and handed a nice menu with the different types of courses they offer as well as some ala carte things. Sorry to you ayce lovers (myself included) but this ain't it, HOWEVER a course does include A LOT of food and by the time my partner and I were finished eating, my pants was unbuttoned, I was huffin' and puffin', and pretty much needed to be rolled outta here. We ordered 2 Miyazaki Beef Courses and it was more than enough for us. This is the type of meal where your eyes will deceive you and you'll think that it isn't enough but be kind to your bowels and take it slow because the servers would bring out the food fairly quickly. We didn't/couldn't eat anymore after these courses, I would if I could. Service was great, I don't have any complaints here. Parking is easy and convenient, you could park in the South Shore structure which is pretty much around the corner of the restaurant or you can get a liiiiitle more exercise by parking in the Whole Foods structure and walk across the street (this may help with digestion afterwards). Overall, this restaurant offers high quality kbbq courses in a nice clean environment. I will definitely be coming back here but would save my appetite and not eat all day prior to coming here.

We enjoyed our experience at this place. The quality of the meat was excellent and the service was also quick and excellent. However, we weren't so thrilled about the marination of the meat. We ordered the Aloha Platter but were a little disappointed that all the meats came marinated. Since the quality of the meat itself was high, we wanted to actually taste the meat. Next time, if we ever do go back, we'll definitely ask for no sauce and just salt, if possible. Considering the quality of the meats and the location, the price is definitely up there. It's also a quieter atmosphere. I'd be open to trying it again, but we're leaning towards doing a bbq at home with more options available for us.

Came here on a Wednesday at 5 PM with no reservation and my boyfriend and I were able to walk in. Everyone here is very friendly and we were promptly seated. They have the set menu and an a la carte menu to choose from so we went ahead and chose the Miyazaki set menu. This location is really different compared to their Japan location since you need to cook on your own in contrast to having a professional cook for you. All the meats were delectable and we enjoyed being taught about which area of the Miyazaki cow we were eating prior to cooking it. Since all the meats were so decadent and rich, we left full. This is a great spot to go to if you enjoy wagyu.

Date night and after some research on my handy dandy yelp app, I was able to find Han No Daidokoro as the spot to try. Luckily for us, there is a Mahalo Combo that is a weeknight deal Monday-Thursday that was a perfect introduction meal for us. We were able to enjoy 4 cuts of Washu beef with vegetables for grilling with a salad, kimchee, and rice, and ice cream. We added on some extras because we wanted to try other cuts, but the combo would have easily have been enough for an entire dinner for 2. We added on some raw meat, the seared Washu beef which comes with onions, green onions and some yuzu koho. The raw meat can only be served up to 3 days after it is harvested, so it is very fresh. We also added on the cheek, which had a garlic, green onion, sesame oil, and salt and pepper seasoning which was super tasty. Our server, Ji was very informative and patient with us, explaining the different dishes, and making suggestions to help us through our dining experience. All the staff were attentive and it was a great dining experience. I'm already making plans for a girls lunch.
